1. PRIVACY POLICY
Data Collection & Use. We collect personal information (name, email, phone, institution details) to deliver our services, communicate updates, and improve our platform. We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent, except as required by law or to trusted service providers who support our operations.
Legal Basis. Processing is lawful under: (a) your consent; (b) contractual necessity to provide services; (c) our legitimate business interests; (d) legal/regulatory compliance. If you are in the EU, we process under GDPR; in South Africa, under POPIA.
Data Rights. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information. Submit requests to contactus@ubdigital.io. We will respond within 30 days. For South African residents, you may lodge complaints with the Information Regulator.
Cookies & Tracking. Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and analytics cookies to understand user behaviour. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without loss of core service functionality.
Data Retention. We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purpose or comply with legal obligations. Contact us for specific retention schedules.

2. TERMS & CONDITIONS
Acceptance & Scope. By accessing ubdigital.io or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately. These Terms apply to all users, whether paying customers or free trial participants.
Service Provision. UB Digital provides campus management, GovTech, research, and AI/analytics solutions as described on our website. We do not warrant that services will be error-free or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify services, features, or pricing with 30 days’ notice.
User Responsibilities. You agree to: (a) use services lawfully and not for illegal, defamatory, or harmful purposes; (b) maintain the confidentiality of login credentials; (c) not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent our security; (d) not transmit malware or disruptive code; (e) comply with all applicable laws.
Intellectual Property. All content, software, logos, and designs on ubdigital.io are owned by or licensed to UB Digital and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, distribute, or modify without written permission.
Liability Limitation. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UB DIGITAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR: (a) INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; (b) LOSS OF REVENUE, DATA, OR PROFITS; (c) SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR DELAYS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not permit liability limitations; applicable law will control.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold UB Digital harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
Termination. Either party may terminate services with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, your right to use services ceases immediately. We may retain data as required by law.
Dispute Resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of Botswana. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, through arbitration or litigation in Gaborone courts, as permitted by law.
Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms. Check this page periodically for changes.
